You *totally* missed my point....

It would be FAR BETTER for the West, to have Islam engaged in an intra-mural Shiite-against-Sunni war (even if only played-out in Iraq), then the status quo is... where BOTH sides can explain away all their failings by pointing to the 'foreign invader' and saying "it's all their fault".
