Honestly, given your wholly disrespectful treatment of this, dealing with you just makes me feel as though I'm dealing with a truly slimy bastard who doesn't give a whit for the truth.

Guess that sums it up for me as well. I don't remember anything about Saddam saying that, nor do I remember anything about dancing in the streets in Iraq. I accept the possibility of both...but have seen no proof as of yet. I trust your memory about as far as I trust my own...which is not that far. Prove it or admit that it's not true.

I did however provide a link to River who writes directly from Baghdad. She says no dancing occurred. If dancing occurred it would have been on the TV, which she watches. So there's another assertion for you to prove.
