It would be insane to question the collective intelligence of the founding fathers and how they all signed a document based upon their understanding America is one nation under God.

Men of honor do not sign that which is not entirely justified.
Men of little to no honor will attempt to denigrate them with such jealous zealotry that is antithetical to what America stands for.

The Declaration Of Independence clearly states:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed."

Read it carefully, the government's job is to ensure that our God given rights are protected... that's what makes the United Stated different from all other nations in the world, it is by no mere accident that the United States is as powerful as it is, our rights come from God and not from the government...
