<RANT> My apologies if I sound bitter about the market of the past few years. I haven't lost anything, but I'm really rather tired of the most foolish gamblers making the most money. Those who truly understand what it means to INVEST in a company - buy a piece of a corporation based upon the underlying income stream it represents - have been unable to make any headway.

I understand TA, and I know that it is hugely important in the success or failure of an investing decision. However, I don't invest unless the TA and FA both line up for me.

I looked forward to all prior bear markets as periods in which the patient, intelligent investor could go shopping for good companies. The attempts to forever eliminate the business cycle and paper over every mistake - the Greenspan put - have made a travesty out of the concept of investing and seriously displaced rational capital formation.

There is a price to be paid for tampering with the Invisible Hand of the free market...
