We are all looking for new leaders who might be better than established ones, and we see bright faces like Hackett and Obama in the future, but do not count Kerry out any more than you should count out Hillary Clinton. The reason is, both of those two have the resources to wage a long campaign, and so far no one else does.

Of course Carter and CLinton proved than a newcomer can come out of "nowhere" and win, and maybe someone like Mark Warner will, but 2008 is too far off to predict.

Also, look for possible new evidence that Bush cheated to win in Ohio, and that the smearvet campaign was indirectly financed by Tom Delay's rightwing campaign money slush funds. Remember Bush claimed he had nothing to do with the smearvets. BS. Rove ran everything. These revelations would cinvince millions that Kerry was cheated and deserves the WH. Don't be surprised.

Finally, no one has ever beaten a war-time president, nor successfully fended off the kind of smear campaign waged against Kerry, Cleland and McCain, three Silver Star winners branded falsely by Bushies as "traitors".
