I'll just go with the Biblical "Live by the sword, die by the sword". As long as we assassinate, we can't get all that upset when it comes back and bites US. Now, we're even sending Predator drones to assasinate with Hellfire missles, driven by some nerd in the CIA.

I think the Military / industrial war hawks in the Pentagon and the CIA had Kennedy killed, because he was going to work to end the cold war after the Cuban missle crisis. That, and they were pissed about his pulling the plug on the Bay of Pigs.

So when Clinton ordered a missile hit on a car he thought had Saddam in it we were at war with Iraq?

Regardless, war or no war, I think when you take part in killing someone, you become fair game yourself.
