FA: I think the probability of recession in 2006 is high with the Fed showing no sign of stopping raising rates before inverting the yield curve. This combined with the energy prices increase is usually a dead cert to cause a recession.

Yes, as Ski says, after hours of course, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. Do you really believe that encouraging bubbles, removing the potential for loss from risk-taking activities, and trying to paper over any and all recessions is in the long-term interest of our economy?
