You know, that anemometer and weathervane can double as a tomato stake

One time my wife tried to take my temperature using an Anemometer...

Yastrzemski19,

This 6th inning was a killer.

I'm watching this game as a temporary RedSox fan (as
unbelievable as it sounds from a Yankee).

El Duque came in with bases loaded and no outs and
managed to get three outs without letting in a run.

That dude is one of the best post season pitchers I've
ever watched.

Anyhow, I'm hoping for a Boston win. It will happen!
Your guys put it in gear when their backs are to the wall.

There is nothing that could be better than the Redsox
and the Yanks meeting up after this series.

Lets hope it happens.

9er,

It had to be tough to watch that game for you.

I know the pain of it.

Especially with those announcers who were continually
calling for the Bosox demise as early as the 7th inning.

It sucks. You just want them to pound the ball over
the fence and down their throats.

I never figured Berman as such a prick but he kept
pounding it in over an over how many outs were left
before they sox were done.

On the flip side of the announcer coin, Mike Piazza
surprised me with his insight. Shed a lot of light
on what the pitcher, catcher and batter was thinking.

The other color-dude didn't add anything other than frustration.

I'm now down to one team to root for.

Fug that National League. <g> (Rat's ears perk up.)

Smoltz really did amaze me yesterday.

I think he is one of the greatest competitors in the game.
I really admire that dude.

P.S. Chicago's catcher really calls a great game behind
the plate for the pitchers. A real thinker.

Ozzy Guillian deserves the praise he's finally getting now.
