No Canuck, I'm afraid. My bro is a Montana boy. He took a newspaper writer sailing on Flathead Lake, and that is how the landlubber writer quoted him. "Prepare to become a boot. Sarah Lee!" I'm sure a mariner such as yourself knows to duck when the skipper says "Prepare to come about!" because when he says "Hard alee," the boom is going to conk you on the head if you don't. That's the extent of my nautical skills. My sister is the big time mariner in our family.
