Short term yes. But longer term, there are a nice 5 waves up in SPX and NDX to the end of 2004 and then A down, B up, 3 waves each and we are now in C down. There are other counts too, some more bearish. But in order to get to the promised land of 3 up, we need to do 2 down :)
