Here is the way I am seeing EFCR. I know management must try to keep the positive news coming but keep this in mind. On September 30, JUST 8 days ago, they indicated the following in a press release:

"Firecreek President John R. Taylor expressed disappointment over the extended time it had taken to complete the contract and technical evaluation process on the various ventures. He remarked, "It always takes twice as long as you think it will, but that is the nature of international oil ventures. I haven't seen any overseas project that goes smoothly or on time. Given the magnitude of some of these projects and multiplicity of nations and cultures I think we are moving ahead very well. I expect an encouraging, exciting fourth
quarter and a dynamite year 2006 for Firecreek." "

My opinion, after reading all of there press releases, is that this stock might fluctuate between 3 cents and 7 cents until real factual information comes out. But, if you believe what was said above, it really won't matter much when the real news finally hits and the stock runs to where? .30, .50, $1, $2? ??? Will3 cents versus 7 cents really matter at that point?

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE....

KEEP US INFOMRED SOROS!!

Wellll..... I haven't spoken to them, so I can't say for sure. But my feeling is that EFCR cares much less about the short term gyrations in their stock price and the attendant worries and frustrations of those trading, and much more about taking care of business. Personally, I like that. I am glad they have not put out a bunch of glowing PR reports with nothing substantive business-wise.

I think these sorts of deals just take time, and I doubt they'll put out any news releases until the deals are closed and everybody's signed on the dotted line. I think it would be inappropriate of them to put out a release on the status of negotiations and so forth. Sure, they could do that, but it's just not good business, IMHO. That sort of thing could easily torpedo everything in a hurry. So, I am impressed that they are conducting themselves in the business world much less like the usual pinkie/BB stock, much more like an S&P500 company would. I like that.

So I am prepared to wait. And, I am prepared to endure tremendous drawdowns. IMHO, anybody who isn't is well-advised to avoid the pinks/BBs entirely. That's been my strategy FWIW, but I have never lost money on a BB stock, and I've seen some very nice gains too.
