Great article. Bushies are a political mafia using kickback schemes and dirty tricks to grab power. Now, like the Mayberry and Enron Machiavellians they are, they are encountering the oldest law on earth, karma. You reap what you sow. They have sown power, but also absolute corruption and since their power is not as absolute as their corruption they are going down.

Great post. What it misses is the looming fight between the ultra conservatives and the Bush WH over Bush's Supreme Court nominee.

When you see how deeply steeped the republican party is into the system of lobbying and their success is getting the lion's share of the lobbyists political donations, it's clear that the influence of these guys is great.

Money is power...and power is wielded by the white house abetted by a republican congress led by Delay. It's a wonder that the man on the street republican joe sixpack can even stomach casting a vote for these cretins. He certainly isn't voting his pocket book, his Bible or his bottle of Jack Daniels.

The power of the Christian Coalition is unmasked here, and shown to be nothing more than another lobbying project. They have Robertson running that show for them. Robertson is over the top this last month in his call for the assassination of Chavez...yet the Medicine show keeps on repeating the mantras and staying on message...to the bitter end.

Let's hope the Fitzgerald is going to have the balls to do the right thing for America, and he puts these criminals on trial.

Orca
