Libya had been negotiating over Lockerbie for over a decade. It wanted western oil companies back in to keep its country from imploding. It makes the state of affairs in Iraq look like positive lunacy. Note that we haven't invaded NK either.

Considering the state of affairs of the US in Iraq and over Katrina, our image of invincibility has been taken down. That's only one of the most dangerous things that Bush has done while in office.

Krauthammer is a rightwing zealot. The rightwing has been wrong-wrong-wrong about Iraq all along. Why should they be considered right about anything now?

Oh yeah, they can't balance a checkbook either.
