Terrorism is bred by such "dictators." If you think the masses prefer such dictators, I believe you are quite wrong there. Is there an estimate of how many Iraqis Saddam's regime might have killed had it remained in power? That'd be a guess. I wouldn't personally venture to say more Iraqis are alive today thanks to Saddam being gone (though some have) without more research, but no doubt there ARE living Iraqis today, who would have died at the hands of his regime had we not intervened.

Any Dictator who has the press say such as the following on or about 911, is a dictator who's teachings breed terrorism against the United States, IMHO.

"BAGHDAD,Al-Iraq: The world saw what was inconceivable. U.S. prestige, arrogance and institutions are on fire. America is tasting what it forced others to taste. America is on fire, and fear and horror have overtaken it from the north to the south and from the east to the west. America is on fire and behind this fire were a thousand, a million, or even a billion hands. For the savage, arrogant America, which is afflicted with megalomania, caused all peoples of the world to suffer from humiliation, starvation, and terrorism. And it is now harvesting what it planted and reaping the fruits of its world crime. . . . The American legend has collapsed the way the World Trade Center tower collapsed in New York."
