Elgindy paid for a false ID, got his picture put on it, then attempted to board an airliner with it.

He was living at home, and out on bail, at the time.

Was he depressed? Was he suicidal? What was he planning to do up in that airplane?

We can come up with all kinds of whackjob conspiracy theories

Maybe he was going to take his life and kill himself~the body never found or identified and with him never convicted, his family would get to keep all the money.

Crazy, yes,
crazy theory, yes

But nothing Elgindy has said give any reason to not think that theory is good.

Elgindy had no reason to use the false ID unless he had a purpose. He was not flying into NY. He was flying into San Diego.
