Conservatives want it both ways.

Conservatives are for States rights when it comes to the establishment clause but want Federal rights when a State makes a law allowing assisted suicide.

Conservatives are all for liberty and freedom - unless of course your homosexual then they want oppression.

Its one way or the other - they want a Supreme who will misinterpret the Constitution.
