What this is really all about is being ANTI SEX, anti sexual freedom especially for women, Those bastids! They've really crossed over the line now! anti women being able to make their own choices. Uhmm, I think aside from abortion, support for that sentence might be lacking. Stay on topic. The proof is that they are also against RU-486, a drug which makes abortions obsolete. Good point. However, if they believe life begins at conception and should not be terminated post-conception, RU-486 terminates a conceived fetus (albeit after a day, right), so it does sort of fit into the extreme anti-abortion crowd's line of thought. The claim that a human being begins at inception is ridiculous. I think you mean conception, and what's ridiulous to you is obviously science to some other people. It's time to get real and call these rightwingers what they really are, big fat repressive prudes. PS: Abstinence only education has resulted in more STD's and more teen sex. Go figure. I'm all for the government promoting a significant increase in healthy recreational sex among the population, so you know where I stand on at least that issue. I think sex is healthy and fun, so there should be more of it going on.
