That's crap. Fearing God and believing in God are not at all comparable except maybe to you.

Come on, the choice of the word "fear" rather than "believe" has lots of loaded implications. They are hardly the same thing. Ignorant people in Romania may believe in and fear werewolves, but children don't both believe in and fear the Easter Bunny (hopefully!). See the difference when the word "fear" is in the sentence?

Let's get real here.....people of all faiths are taught to fear their God to reduce the likelihood of their sinning for which they would be punished or lose the chance to get into heaven.
Fear of a god is the primary method used to control the masses....
