The rightwing also ignore our huge overpopulation problem. ALmost all wars now are being fought because of overpopulation and different groups fighting for the same resources. Therefore overpopulation and religious extremists are the two leading causes of war. The fact is that we desperately need birth control, or else the human race will be in much sadder shape in the future. To bring hundreds of millions of unwanted babies into the world simply on moral grounds is a receipe for disaster. If we do away with birth control and abortion rights, as the rightwing wants, our overpopulation problems will become much more severe.
