I think it's immoral to abort after 3-4 months, but that's just my personal opinion. Immoral doesn't mean criminal though. I certainly don't think abortions should be outlawed except maybe after 6 months. Unless the mother's life is in danger, then all bets are off.

This is a silly debate though. It boils down to common sense. Very few people who want to terminate a pregnancy fail to do it very soon after they find out they are pregnant. This means 99% of all abortions should and usually are done before anything ressembling a human embyro exists. Usually more like the size of a pea and less complex than a tadpole. Nothing human-looking about it.

What makes RU486 so great is that you literally get rid of the problem the morning after so it never exists. It avoids 99.9% of all abortions being necessary in the first place. So we should all support it and end this stupid debate.

Know the real reasons the religious right is against RU486? Because they won't be able to raise money anymore once abortion rates go way down as all women have access to RU-486. Also because, as said, the abortion issue is really about trying to semi outlaw sex itself before marriage, especially sex for girls. I am firmly against outlawing sex in any form, so long as it's consensual and the participants are not children.
