That would, of course simply be a linear approximation {written word}, and NOT a good one!! You can't get a concept much more indescribable than love.

IMO he cut right to the essence as described by many {including Socrates} since one can only do the best one can as he knows it. Any rejection of anothers best would be simply that persons lack of compassion and understanding of course.
