Embarassing and weak as it is, I will let my testimony stand on its own. I'm sure I would screw up an explanation of it as much as I screwed up the testimony itself. I had no business being there without expert legal counsel, as I now realize. Both sides' lawyers tried to lead me, often successfully, to particular slants of interpretation about fleeting thoughts or statements of three years prior. Maybe my brain is just much foggier than everyone else' - I really don't know.
