Int'l Rectifier lowers Q1 rev, gross margin forecasts (IRF) By Gabriel Madway
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- International Rectifier Corp. (IRF) late Monday lowered its first-quarter revenue forecast to $273 million. The El Segundo, Calif.-based company had previously forecast revenue to be flat to up 4% from the fourth-quarter's figure of $281.8 million. International Rectifier also lowered its gross margin forecast to 40.5%. It had previously said it expected gross margin to be flat to down 2 percentage points from 43.5% last quarter. The power management technology company forecast first-quarter earnings of 35 cents to 37 cents a share, or 40 cents to 42 cents a share on a pro forma basis.
