LBJ and Nixon were responsible for the war in Vietnam.
Not Kennedy. In the early 60's it was merely a limited police action and Green Beret operation. At that point we were winning. There is also evidence that JFK would have ended the war if he had lived, which is one reason the rightwing killed him. Maybe THE big reason.

LBJ escalated based on the big lie of Gulf Of Tonkin, then Nixon took it even further. LBJ would probably be a Bush republican today. He was very tied in with big oil and what is now Halliburton, that is Brown + Root.
