No, CLinton is the one who balanced the budgets and gave us surpluses for the first time since 1960. He rose taxes AGAINST the will of Newt and the GOP congress. Newt was predicting a depresion if Bill's tax policies went through. They did and the economy did great.

Get your facts straight.

This is a perfect example of how the rightwing spin machine lies to us. trying to revise history and claim credit for things they were against.

CLinton paid a harsh price for balancing the budget, he lost congress and then had to endure them investigating his dirty laundry and impeaching him. But he did the job for the people and gave us the best economy of our lives. Bush has done just the opposite.
