We live in a dual monarchy state, by 2008 we will have had 20 years of Bushes and Clintons and the prospect of even more after that.

What do you think about a McCain/Frist administration?

(Or a McCain/any-Southern-Republican-Governor-you'd-care-to-think-about ticket? McCain/Allen, etc.)

McCain seems far ahead of all other competition in the current polling... and the addition of a Frist or southern governor to his ticket might be the one thing necessary to help him to the Republican nomination.

(It seems that he would only potentially have problems in the Republican primaries --- that is, if the social conservatives *don't* split their support among several candidates, like they seem to be doing right now --- but would beat just about any Democrat imaginable in the general....)
