>> That was a fine example of selecting facts to support one's opinions. But the facts I selected were all things about which it is difficult to imagine them existing if Bush had not been in office.

Is that so?! Is there a special Bush-filter or device that makes you guys not see the people's point of view no matter how hard they try to explain it to you?

So you think there was nothing that Bush could have done about 9/11, even though there was an explicit report with the words "AQ, Airplane, Terror Attack, US" in its title?

And of course it is just a coincident that more Americans have dropped below poverty line under Bush's watch than any other in modern times.

And you equally think that there was nothing Bush could have done about New Orleans, even though there was an explicit report about it being one of the 3 most likely disasters that can happen to US...not to mention the cut of funds for levies and the lack of preparation as Katrina approached the city?

And you equally think that Bush has no control over the value of USD and the that his policies are not responsible for the nearly 40% drop of USD against Canadian dollar, its nearly 65% drop against oil, and big drop against EU or any other major currency or commodity?

I can go on, but I am hoping that you get the drift...btw, I can just as easily question the conclusions you are drawing from your "facts" but point is that unless you can see the opposite point of view, there is no point in the discussion.
