Yeah, I was just surprised to read the "nuanced" reference, I haven't read that type of stuff outside this thread. The Fitzgerald investigation does seem pretty interesting. I'm looking forward to learning what the results are. Living overseas, I have zero feel for the "everything is coming unraveled" thesis that pops up here a lot recently. My impression is that many of the posters here are about 5 standard deviations from the norm in terms of their interest in politics (posters here are WAY too interested), so the idea that anything is coming unravelled is likely overstated (as far as I can tell), but who knows?
