They think they're getting something for nothing but in reality they're the ones who really get killed

had lunch yesterday with a friend who since retirement became a minister , he works out of a church in nyc a few times a week. We got into how expensive nursing home care, assistant living etc. he then explained the attitude in nyc , i assume he's talking welfare, very low income, medicaid...

these people have assistant living and do not require it .. in his opinion, but they have people coming in to clean the house, etc. If someone goes to the hospital they expect home care for several days , free of charge.

I kind of started off based on my own situation as a care taker and how costly it would be to use assistant living etc. and how most middle income folks just gave away savings , house to kids and then go on medicaid. used to be the norm back in bean town. He confirmed it is bigger than ever and how much it has expanded to the home itself now.

I doubt it will ever get cleaned up as democrats live off these voters. The younger ones now want full time kindergarten to avoid day care costs.
