On one hand is fury of the bombers to kill fellow Iraqis without any remorse on other the will of the democrats to install a functioning society, the easy way is and was to standby silently as a spectator, as people are killed, the difficult way is about brining a change, that is what is happening the change of habits, the laying down of guns and we see green offshoots of development all around amidst carnage of thugs.

Politics is about brokering deals and make concessions. These are signs of maturing nations; we are seeing this happening in Iraq, the two bigger factions giving into Sunni demands their ability to change constitution. This is the luxury which Shiites or Kurds did not have under Saddam rather no civil society ever exited, this is early stage of a very embryonic democracy in the heart of the Arab world, the Umayyad capital of Islam in early Islamic history, it will have repercussions all around, instead of Alqaeda controlling Syrians, Jordan and other neighbouring country a major conflict is being avoided, democracy and freedom will ensure that change happen through ballot boxes not through the barrel of the gun..
