Qatar is the most pro-American Arab country.

So? It's refreshing to see Gulf Arabs building something in an Arab-Israeli section of Israel instead of blowing something up.

Actually I'm not even sure it's a country. More like an oilfield with a friendly shiek in charge.

It's a country, with its own currency, Olympic team, UN seat (unlike Taiwan) and unique passport. I think their population is about 200,000. They were originally supposed to be a part of the United Arab Emirates (along with Kuwait) but opted out in the early 1970's when all these mini-Gulf states got their independence from Britain.
