Ted, The very idea that women who get abortions are whores and who find an abortion to be an unpleasant "side effect of their lifestyles" is repugnant.

The "whore" attitude is what forces a lot of women toward abortion. The "side effect" attitude is usually demonstrated by "liberated" women who have careers and active sexual lifestyles, but don't want to be bothered by any family issues. These also include the women who want to get abortions because they fear the prospect of "shopping at Costco," for instance:

I know these women you speak so lightly of and judge so critically. Not one has done an abortion without considerable forethought and pain involved. There may well be women like you describe but they are very much in the minority.

But in any case, both kinds of women have the right to choose.

There not "whores" Tenchy, they're sluts. Whores charge and are professionals. As for women who choose not to bear children because they don't want to be responsible for some little needy waste of time and money, what's wrong with that?
