RU-486 was created as a morning after pill, that's its purpose and when it should be used. Anyone who uses it later is using the wrong prescription. Maybe it would work later, I'm no Doctor, but in the world of sane responsible people, it's a morning after pill only. The key here is that the religious right hates the fact that there's a safe, legal pill you can take which eliminates the need for abortions. They hate that because it takes away their whole argument and deprives them of millions of dollars they raise by showing gullible people photos of aborted foetuses. Let's call this what it really is, a racket whose real purpose is to try to make sex sound disgusting. They basically dont want people to have sex because they themselves are disgusted with sex. That's all this really is. How many religious right zealots do you see adopting AIDS babies from Africa?
