Unless some justices start falling over dead, I don't foresee the quagmire of the Establishment Clause interpretation changing.

That's one good reason conservatives should be crying for a missed opportunity to nominate Michael McConnell to the Supreme Court. He's practically THE religion clauses authority, and is very critical of the mish mash we have now.
