Blackboard Stands by Third-Quarter and Fiscal 2005 Guidance, Issues Intial 2006 Outlook WASHINGTON (AP) -- Blackboard Inc. on Wednesday reiterated its guidance for the third-quarter and fiscal 2005 and issued guidance for 2006 that was well below Wall Street's consensus estimate. Shares of the company eased $1.17, or 5.1 percent, to $21.75 in aftermarket activity, after closing earlier down 97 cents, or 4 percent, at $22.92 on the Nasdaq. Its stock has traded in a 12-month range of $13.54 to $25.94.
