I think the stock market is at least discounting that possibility to some degree though a fall back to under 8k on the DOW most likely. Not so for the coastal housing bubble or the bond bulls. Drops would be easily 50-70% in nominal terms if that happened. Or more likely it happens in real terms even more dramatically over many years.
