He would be a good one. I suspect the next President is presently relatively unknown, just as Carter and Clinton was. Opps, they are Democrats!

With the crowded lineup expected in the primaries, and all the elbowing, (I expect a dozen or so early candidates in each party's field)... I doubt such an 'unknown' (nationally, anyway) will catch fire on the Republican side. On the Dem side though, there will be a strong desire to quickly unite behind an 'anti-Hillary' choice, so I think the Dem field will narrow more quickly, while the Rep minor candidates will fight on longer (hope springs eternal :), giving an advantage to the well-known and nationally vetted names.
