Cochiti Lake Marina To Be Removed

(BOC Press - Albuquerque, NM - October 10, 2005)

The marina at Cochiti Lake is coming out. Long time Boat Owners of Cochiti (BOC) non-member, non-stinking-dues-payer Tom Nims, reports that he received a telephone call from Thelma Quintana of Cochiti Community Development Corporation (CCDC) last week asking if he could identify and contact the owners of two remaining boats in the Cochiti Marina. Quintana said the boats needed to be removed from the marina by Friday, Oct, 7th to facilitate the dismantling and removal of the marina infrastructure from the lake.

The boats have been removed. Marina dismantling and removal was scheduled to begin today.

Additionally, a number of personal and recreational items and the BOC grill have been recovered from the maintenance shed on the marina and taken to Tom Nims' boat yard for safe keeping. If you have items to claim contact Mr. Nims.

playground. ;-)
