i think if you read my posts more closely Pearly, you will find we are not too far in disagreement
it is a matter of empshasis
excessive alarmism without action is highly counterproductive unless you are usig it as a political weapon. or trying to sell a product.
the fact remains:
there are not enough does of anti-viral to go around, nor will there be despite even heroic efforts if this thing hits soon
moreover, there is precious little solid evidence that these anti-virals will make the diffreence: you may argue : its all we got. thats fine: but it is not fine to put all of our efforts into manufacturing and selling something hoping that it is THE answer, if you dont have solid evidence it is.
more importantly, we have a piss-poor public health infrastructure that will be overwhelmed...
