I offered to you another opinion, that of River. She said most displayed compassion for the American people on 9-11. The point being that there are many opinions in Iraq, and one newspaper editorial does not tell the whole story. And most certainly it was not Saddam speaking, and most certainly the writer wrote of NOTHING that you claimed. Orca

Do you believe that muslims hate America because they hate freedom? This is one of the biggest lies that keeps getting told by Bush. Do you think that muslims woke up one day and said...freedom...bad...must kill Americans!???? Well friend, it didn't happen that way. Hatred of the west by muslim countries is the direct result of western behavior in the middle east. Our behavior has been repulsive, repressive and opportunistic. We've sowed war and colonialism, and reaped much wealth, control...and hatred. No...the muslim people do not hate freedom. They hate those responsible for taking theirs. Orca
