No he said the last throes. That would indicate the final, desperate, attempts by the insurgency. What you cannot be honest about is the wide gap between that which Cheney says and that which is being testified in Congress about from Rumsfeld and the other generals...that the insurgency is not in the last throes, that it will be in fact decades if ever before the insurgency is put down. When the US does pull out, there will be a civil war in Iraq, whether that is in one, two or ten years from now. Orca
