They are separate companies. Commodities and futures accounts are - as with all brokers - segregated. Personally I'd take the money out too, just not worth the potential headache, no matter how remote the risk.

yeah, i'd be bailing too. i bet a lot of people are thinking that way. since it takes a long time to transfer positions to another firm, most people would presumably liquidate their positions and wire out. i wonder if that will pressure any markets.
