Steve, you didn't answer this:

Imagine that today the USSC decides that abortion is a states rights issue. Presumably, red states would out law abortion and blue states would continue with the present laws. The actual effect would be that women of means from the red states would catch a flight to a blue state to get an abortion. A poor woman that can least afford another child also couldn't afford the trip to get an abortion. So she either goes to "a butcher" or has the child.

Would it cut the overall number of abortions? Yes. Would it increase the number of children (and adults) living in poverty, also yes.


Isn't that a problem?
