As my wife and I work from home, we plan to stock up with beer, beer, beer (and wine) along with some grub and wait this H5N1 out behind locked doors.

In Florida your allowed to shoot anyone approaching your property who happens to sneeze withing breathing range.

We are ready! If we have to there are turtles and fish in the pond in the back yard. They'll add protein to the 100 lb sacks of rice in the garage.

While Tamiflu and Relenza don't cure avian flu, but slow down the virus, there is information from animal studies that Peramivir is pretty effective.

There are also many more older people, people with damaged immune systems, etc.

I don't want to see bird flu fix the Social Security problem, but it could...
