My children would never join a team or group of youth who culturally prayed to Zeus. Now praying to the God rational people would agree is the God our Founding Fathers referenced is not a problem. What the prayer requested also had to be acceptable.

I made it my business to know the philosophy of all adult mentors my children would be exposed too.

Anyone can postulate what I call the absurd scenario, I have not seen anything of an absurd scenario suggesting any objection to prayer in this case. It seems far more an intolerance of diversity.

Individuals who complained did not have children on the team.

I don't think you pray to Zeus. You pour libations and burn the thighs of fatted black rams or something like that.
