A stocks price can fall as low as .00001...but we'll never see it. .0001 is as low as it trades....and the MM's love it there...why? Because the difference between the bid and the ask is 100%...pure profit for them. You have to understand that the MM(Market Makers) make their money off of each share that is bought. The difference between the bid and the ask. SO, often they lower their prices to scare us into selling lower than we should. This is called the "shake". They also post trades that are deceptive to try to entice us to buy(this is again fear they are using...the fear that the price is going to run off and leave us). Notice todays trades: Time & Sales Price Size Exch Time 0.0002 750000 OTO 15:59:37 0.0003 1000 OTO 15:59:24 0.0002 300000 OTO 11:20:45 (I got this from SI. Just type in the ticker at the top and go to quotes. Then click on "Depth/Level II". There is a 15min delay, but for these purposes that is fine.) So what does this show us? Well, first thing apparent is that there weren't but 2 real trades today and they were both sells. Also, the dollar amounts were tiny. Last but not least, the buy IMVHO was just manipulation. The breakdown is: Sell @ the bid .0002 3000,000 shares at 11:20am total amount involved .0002x300000=$60.00 Sell @ the bid .0002 750,000 shares at 3:59pm total amount involved .0002x750000=$150.00 Buy @ the ask .0003 1000 shares at 3:59pm total amount involved .0003x1000=$.30 See the buy, it wasn't a buy at all. No way someone bought .30 worth of stock. IMVHO the MM's just did this to try to trigger other buyers. One last thing, IMVHO stock trading is about doing enough DD to overcome all the fear that is coming my way. If I don't do enough research then the MM games will eat my lunch. I have to be able to stand firm and wait for my target to arrive no matter what else is going on. Ever notice that the first thing that happens after finding a stock we like is that fear kicks in and tells us we are going to miss our chance. Then we purchase the stock, and fear tells us we are going to lose all our money because we don't know enough about what we just bought. Mind trip, huh? To me being free from fear is the most important part...I guess that's what Faith is all about. Anyway, enough of my armchair philosophy...guess tomorrow is another PR day, since we didn't get one today<ggg>. Good Night. -GODBLESS-NODOUBT- -cris-
