Did they "coach" on content or when to take the mike? That's my question. Anyone who thinks that working out the logistics in advance means that the content was scripted hasn't had employment or life experience with much content, imo. It would be foolish to have an event like that without some advance coordination so that people aren't standing around looking foolish as to who is to speak when. The article to which I reacted said nothing about scripting content. So what about the video lead you to your conclusion?

The video of the DOD employee coaching the soldiers was pretty self explanatory... Determining who would go first, who would answer certain types of questions, etc. Is a long way from scripted. If it were scripted then they would not be answering the question in their own words. They could even put in typical answers to typical question to be displayed on the teleprompter, and that would not be scripted if the answer was their own words. This is exactly how I would expect such a telecast to be orginized! Just leftest MSM trying to fool the public!
