Yes, the Supreme Court trumps states rights. Which is why it's so important not to have rightwing activist judges on the SC, only those who obey the Constitution, especially the clause where it says "separation of church and state".

Of course the Supreme Court rulings trump state rights, the question is whether they should be ruling on abortions or not.

Why do you think the Supreme Court should determine abortion policy rather than a state legislature?

Do you realize that Roe versus Wade is perhaps the biggest example of activist judges legislating from the bench in US history?
