Math scores.........SAT scores

It seems to me that really smart people can be good at math. But a lot of smart kids pass up math in school because it is hard, and they don't think they need it. They may be right.

I am posting a lot of stuff on how lousy we are doing at math in this country and I am wondering if one reason we don't turn out more engineers is that engineering no longer pays that well. You look at CEOs today and they are all lawyers or Business majors.

You can hold any opinion you wish, but in that I know the difference between a math/engineering degree courses and other degrees, your opinion is built on a foundation of blather. Mostly faulty inductive reasoning.
