That is why I was hoping for a "part two." But the low ratings pretty well kill that happening, considering that it was the most expensive series every produced by HBO.

At least we have another series of "The Wire" in production. It didn't get top ratings, but HBO loved it as much as I do.

The best series on Rome that I have read is the "Masters of Rome" series by Colleen McCullough. "The First Man in Rome" is the start of what is now five novels. The last one, "Caesar," is the best so far.
